I purchased a corner suit from Furniture Warehouse silverton which was labeled bonded leather for the price of 15k, after nine months the whole coener suit cushions had cracked and I phoned the shop and informed them what had happened, the manager confirmed that it was still on gurantee and i should bring it back, when i brought it back to the shop he insisted that i had used the wrong chemicals on the suit. he asked me to pay an extra R800 to repair the cushions which we had not disscussed over the phone. I did not decline i paid it in full. Two months later the suit started again cracking not only the cushions but the whole couch. I brought in some leather experts to make a quotation for me so I could buy a new leather, they confirmed to me that this was not bonded leather it was the cheapest material available ad the 800 i had topped up as the manager said was more than enough to buy that cheap material for the couche. I have written the branch manager an email with no response. I want the whole country to know that this big retail shop sales cheap material for a price. i am very disappointed for all the costs i incured.
