I was trying to purchase a bedroom suit at the price of R16000. I was going to pay half the price as soon as the deal was approved and the rest in six month instalments but I was denied to open the account just because I have a new employment contract which is three months old although I have been working since 2011.
They didn't even check my good credit record with other stores. I do not understand why they view me as a high risk customer or why they check how long your current contract is instead of checking for affordability. I went into another furniture shop and asked if they also considered how long a person had been on contract before selling them furniture on account and found that they did not do such.
I am so disappointed and I can say that they have lost a good customer for ever since I do not see myself recommending them nor ever buying from their shops ever again.
