Opened a bag of Jalapeno-flavoured Tasty Chips last week and found a dirty string inside which looks like it comes from a bandage or something. After nearly getting sick (since I had eaten most of the chips by then) I contacted Tasty Chips on Facebook and was told very politely that the MD (Russell Watkins) would come by my office and collect the bag with the foreign object on Monday. He then cancelled the appointment and promised to come on Tuesday. No show... I emailed him regarding the matter and he just ignored me.
I suppose his assurance that Tasty Chips' hygiene levels are high is as good as his assurance that he will come and investigate a customers issue.
I am concerned about this product's hygiene and would urge other consumers to rather stay away from it. Should Russell continue to ignore me, I will post pictures of the dirty object later today on Facebook to warn everybody about them.
