We went to purchase clothing after paying the account at the Mr Price home next to the clothing store where the incident occurred. After waiting in a que for 20 minutes, the cashier accidentally rang up the same items twice and somehow managed to "block" my account. She did not great us, said excuse her but there is a problem on the account, she left and called the manager who immediately rang up the items again whilst being busy on the phone. after 30 minutes of waiting to purchase few items on account, we decided to walk out. The next day we went to Mr Price home again and find out what was wrong on the account. The cashier informed us the account has been blocked and we need to re-apply for credit. I phoned the account department and they informed me that nothing is wrong on the account. I tried to phone the HQ number to talk to somebody to lodge a complaint and was cut off after 5 calls. Is this acceptable treatment? Vryheid Mr Price service is horrible and they to customers and is negligent to assist any queries.
