We went to Clearwater with the intention of buying a tablet. We really liked the Nexus 7" WiFi 3G on sale for R2, 499 and decided to buy it, when we noticed that tilting the tablet 90 degrees did not cause the display to rotate. We asked the saleman if this was a setting that we could change, and he said that it was just the way that model was and it could not be set to tilt. This seemed really strange to us as this would be very inconvenient, so we decided not to buy it. We looked around a bit more and decided to wait for something else to come on special, a bit disappointed because we really liked the Nexus other than the tilting issue. The next morning we met a friend for breakfast who showed us her brand new Nexus. We explained why we didn't buy one, and to our suprise she showed us that the screen did rotate when tilted. So I phoned the store to ask if I could buy one for the special price only to be told that the special was over. So now if I buy one I have to pay R1, 500 more, because of a salesman who didn't know what he was talking about.
