For the second time, I went to a TWT for wheel balancing and get told by a salesperson that my tyres need to be replaced because they are worn while there is still ample tread left. He even showed me the wear indicator (which he doesn't know how to read) and spots "flat spots" on my tyres from 7 meters away. All so he can sell me new tyres. I feel sorry for the trusting customers who support them. The previous time I was at a TWT for a puncture, they also told me the tyre needed replacing. I went across the road to HiQ, who repaired the tyre for R40.00, and it's been fine for over a year now. These guys are artists, they don't even pretend to care about their customers. If you want better service, stop supporting people who do business like this.
