I am finally at my wits end with the staff in the Davenport Branch of Checkers. They need to all learn how to be courteous to customers and have some manners.
Countless times I have been there to find staff joking and chatting to each other, taking up more than half the aisle width, 'packing' shelves or fridges.
I have also come across staff who are busy having a conversation and I have to try and look around them to see what I am trying to buy on the shelf behind them. Eventually I had to ask them to please move out the way so I could do my shopping. On Tuesday afternoon, I was looking through Christmas wrapping paper when a member of staff dumped a pile of Christmas hats and shelf hangers on the box of wrapping paper she could clearly see I was looking through. Straight after that, I was trying to make my way to another part of the shop and I had to move out of the way for one of the managers so she could walk past me as there was a trolley of stock. And lastly, the tellers never greet. I always have to say hello to them first, and i get a very dismal response back.
All of this is a terrible way to treat customers and my shopping experiences at Davenport are always terrible.
