A friend and I went to Sandton City in order for me to buy a dress from Bebe that I had been coveting for a while. The dress was priced at R1699 and upon entering the store my friend and I were assaulted by the horrible odour of the place, it absolutely reeked. The saleswomen were loud and paid no attention to us whatsoever, they even ignored our greeting as they were too busy shouting across the store at one another- genuinely shouting. I approached one to ask about the dress and began to describe it to her, she dismissed me with a curt, ''No.'' and went back to chatting with her colleagues, they were pushing each other around and laughing raucously. I approached the other saleswoman and she too dismissed me before I could even describe it to her. I was insulted so I decided to leave the store, upon exiting I saw about 4 of the dresses that I wanted on a rack by the door. I didn't end up buying it because obviously the customers are of no value to BeBe whatsoever.
