Honestly, I hate visiting the Game in Paarl. Bad attitudes, lazy staff, dirty floors, isles cramped with unpacked stock - You name it, you'll find it there.
Unfortunately, I have to pop in there every so often and today I had to once again make my way there. It's Monday and what do I walk into?
a Shop with 3 till points open. At the one till point the cashier was waiting for some idiotic client to do -knows-what. The client in front of me and I are told that we can pay at the adjacent point.
At that point, I had to wait even longer to be served.
Why?
Because 2 staff members had to pay for their snacks. And Mrs Carr were moaning about 3 staff members not pitching for work.
Really now, that's not the clients' problem and I don't need to hear about it. After asking her why they're letting clients wait while staff is helped I got a snotty reply 'Our people need their breaks - They can't work all day without a break' Excuse me, it's 10:30 IN THE MORNING. How tired can you be?
Mrs Carr, stick your attitude where the sun doesn't shine.
And focus on your contingency plan.
That is, if y'all have one, which I doubt.
