Refusal to accept a return

Edgars Stanger is pathetic is every aspect. the staff need a serious attitude adjustment and should learn customer service before being placed at a store.

i have various incidents in the store - but this time i am not able to just let it go. My father in law purchased a formal pants in Umhlanga which is approximately 70 to 80km away from stanger. when he took it home he was not happy with the fit and as any regular store would offer, edgars also has a return/exchange policy in place. when at the till to make the return, Sayuri Davids refused acceptance of the product. Stating that the stanger branch did not stock that specific brand and it could only be exchanged at store that has the item.

i find this to be utter nonsense. Edgars is a chain store. a return should not depend on the item. so if i where in Johannesburg or cape town on holiday and returned home and needed to return a product i would have to go back there? ridiculous!!!

please tell me where in the return policy it states where you have to conduct a return/refund at the same store of purchase?

i would like to have this resolved immediately and a more senior person to evaluate the quality of staff at this store.
