On 2 September I just took receipt of my first ever PnP online shopping delivery. I was quite excited. And then very disappointed.

There were MASSIVE discrepancies between the prices at the time of shopping and what I paid for them. Pnp charged me in total R53 MORE than the guide price; that is 11% of the actual order.

I know the fine print states that the price at time of shopping is a guide price only, but I do not believe there should be such a great discrepancy on a relatively small order placed only 2 days before delivery. At the very least PnP should resubmit the costs on delivery day, should such significant changes occur.

Additionally, 10 items were not delivered (some really basic items such as mince), which meant I had to go to the shops anyway.

In addition the delivery man was unfriendly, double parked in our complex and only moved after our complex guard asked him the third time.

I submitted a complaint to PnP on the day of delivery and only received a very generic 'please refer to our terms and conditions' email, and a mention that they would escalate this further. This was more than a month ago and still no word from PnP.
