On Wednesday, my wife went to Shoprite and needed to draw cash at the tills as FNB encourages its customers to do. She needed R3500. The cashiers told her that it was too much. She then said R3000 would also be enough. They said they could give her only R1500. They then said there was no cash available and gave her nothing. Yet while leaving, she saw them giving another customer cash. I cannot believe that a shop as big as Shoprite cant have even R3000 in cash in the tills at any given point. It seems the cashiers werer just being spiteful. Its not the first time we have had issues trying to get cash at Shoprite Lenasia. Either honour the agreement that was entered into with FNB or stop it altogether, but stop wasting customers time!!!
