PAMPERS WITH BAD ABSORBTION

I usually buy Huggies Gold, but thought I would try the Pampers with the wetness measure on. They are so thin and when I put a new nappy on my baby then after an hour the nappy get this awful smell of urine. Now Huggies never use to have this problem and they keep for up to 8 hours. The Pampers I have to change every hour as to the stink it gives off.
I think this is just VERY BAD for Pampers!!!
