To the female South African consumer - DO NOT SHOP AT ZARA. If you do choose to shop at Zara DO NOT USE THE FITTING ROOMS! According to the supervisor on the day, while its not acceptable for a male Zara staff member to rip open a fitting room curtain while you are in a state of undress, IT WILL HAPPEN, as male staff members are required to assist in the FEMALE ONLY fitting room area when Zara is short staff; irrelevant what the immediate consequences of that may be. And it won't happen once, it will happen twice over a less than five minute period.
And do not expect the manager to come to you to apologise. From being in the supply room, to being in a meeting, she won't. Until you find the supply room yourself, bang on the door not once but 3 times, explain your problem to the supervisor, you will not get an audience with the "in supply room/ in a meeting" manager. And once you do, the best the manager will do is say "Sorry".
Zara South Africa, you are an embarrassment to your European counterparts. You run your shop like a zoo... the only subtle difference is that zoo keepers treat their animals better than you treat the South African consumer.
SHAME ON YOU. WORDS FAIL.
