SAECO Espresso Machine - bad service

On 19 August 2013 I booked my SAECO Espresso Machine in for repairs as the steam function was not working. Almost 2 months later I have still not received the repaired machine!

When I phoned, 2 weeks after leaving the machine with SAECO, I was told the person who had to order the defective part was off sick. Every subsequent time my husband or I contacted them, the 'responsible person' was either off-sick or the replacement part has not arrived either from Germany or from Cape Town. It would have been easier to order the part from Germany ourselves!

Not once has SAECO contacted us out of their own accord, to update us on the status of the repair. Every time we phone, we get told that we will be phoned back. We have only been phoned back once.

I bought the Odea Giro machine in April 2008 and since then it has been in for repairs 5 times! This is the 6th break-down in five and a half years!!! The previous repairs were done at the end of June this year!!!
