I shop at the Spar Piazza da Luz Sea Point once or twice a week but after my experience on Sat 28 Sept that will now change. I was there less than 2 hours but when I drove to the exit I had to wait 5 mins at the parking hut for the attendant who was busy on his phone or something, he even apologized for making me wait so long but as a result he forced me to pay for an extra hour because now the time was 2 mins over my 2 hours!!! This is dishonest, unethical and illegal and I would like my money back. Already so many sea point residents have stopped shopping at this Spar because of the parking nightmare and dishonest system. Was so much better when you used to pay inside the centre. Silly move of Spar as they are definitely going to lose most their customers when the Checkers centre opens soon. You would think they would try keep customers??
