I went to Pick n Pay on Saturday morning (31 August 2013) I was looking for thickly cut rump steak as i wanted to make espetada. After viewing their "freshly" cut meat at the butchery itself it was GREEN! Event the Lady behind the counter said its not right. So i went to the pre-packed shelves and the rump that they had was paper thin. After seeing the meat packer packing meat, i asked him if he is able to cut me a thick piece of rump.by then the lady from the "freshly" cut meat section was there packing meat. They then started arguing as to who must go to the back and help me. Then the guy said, if we cut you meat it will take too long.By then i was fuming and left my whole trolley full of groceries (to which i spend R1500.00 a week at that specific pnp). I then went to Checkers and they were the most helpful and accommodation people which made my day! I WILL NEVER SUPPORT PNP EVER AGAIN!! TAKE YOUR ROTTEN MEAT AND SHOVE IT!! And i really hope other people follow!
