Don't want to exchange goods!!!

I bought razor blades at Clicks Highveld mall in Witbank and after realising it was the incorrect size I wanted to exchange it for the right one. Everybody knows razor blades are expensive hence the reason I wanted to exchange it instead of dumping it and buying new ones. They said they will not allow me for exchanging it nor give me my money back due to the package being damaged. I had to damage the package in order to get to the blades as there we a plastic seal on the package. I had everything with me: blades which was unused, original package and the slip!
I really cant believe they wouldn't just let me exchange it for the correct ones. I was even wiling to pay in if need be but it was a blatant NO the ppackage is damaged. I must buy new ones and waste money and throw the incorrect ones away.
Clicks is not willing to sacrifice a little bit even for a loyal customer like me. I always buy my products there.
I'd rather buy my items at another supplier just around the corner.
Can't believe they would not let me exchange the items even If I followed their protocol of exchanging items/products!!?!?!?!!?!?
Not a nice experience!
