I am being telephonically harassed on my cellphone by a man named Julius calling from MBD and claiming he is calling about an outstanding Miladys account. He claims I opened this account in 1994. I did not open an account. He now insists I must go to a police station and make an affidavit in order to prove I did not open such an account. I refuse to do so, as there is no onus on me to prove I did not open an account 20 years ago when I have had absolutely no contact from Miladys in that time. This man is rude, overbearing and refuses to give up. I hold Miladys responsible for contracting a debt collection agency that already has a terrible reputation for their lack of proper procedure and constant illegal harassment of people. I want my name and contact details removed from MBD lists forthwith, and proof thereof supplied to me.
