Losing Faith in the Oakley brand

I purchased a Oakley Hole shot Watch and a short while later the "clasp" on the strap broke. I took the watch back to the retail outlet (who has been helpful as far as possible). They advised me that the watch will need to go to Cape Town for repair. This coming Monday will be a little over two months that I am still waiting for my watch. For me, the amount of money spent on this watch was considerible & the fact that I've spent this money on a product that I now don't have seems like a waste. As a customer and a fan of Oakley, I have started losing faith in the Oakley brand. Whatever the reason is that the repair has taken this long should not be the customer's problem. An apology is also two months too late.
