Not willing to exchange a GIFT I received

I received a gift, a pair of jeans but OBVIOUSLY I did not receive the slip with the gift that would be stupid. The people who gave me the gift even went as far as to look for the price tag with the barcode on it and found it but obviously not the slip. The staff at Malelane would not assist me and quite frankly had a attitude toward me.
