My mother had a massive stroke in April and has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. I have sent 2 emails to [Email Removed] to this effect asking what procedures to put in place to get this debt sorted out as she has no form of income whatsoever and is relying on her children for her living expenses. I have not even received the courtesy of a reply! She does however have comprehensive insurance on this account through Woolworths which they have been deducting R74-21 every month, for this exact reason. This morning, she received an sms from Nationwide recovery saying she is being handed over to all three SA credit bureaus!!! How absolutely disgusting your customer service is Woolworths! She missed paying one month! This, to a dying woman! Sis! Its not as we have not tried to sort this out with you!
