Ought 3 bowls of chicken soup on Friday 2 aug. The soup went to the fridge when |I got home. My daughter took one bowl with her. She phoned me at 2 on 3 august and warned me not to eat the soup as it is rotten. I checked mine in the fridge and even in the fridge it was sort of boiling out of the bowl and the fridge was a mess.
I went to checkers and took the 2 bowls I have with me back. They wanted the slip which I did not have. I shop everyday sometimes twice daily and do not keep all the slips. The supervisor refused to refund all 3 bowls and only refunded me for 2 because I did not brought back the third one. My daughter stays 5 km from me to pick up a bowl of rotten soup is absurd.
Im I daily customer of checkers Parkview and if that is the way they treat loyal customers I will rather drive 5 km to pick a pay to support them on a daily basis. This was not the first time I had to return rotten food stuff to them.
