We took our broken iron to Checkers Gezina where we bought it on the 28th of December 2012. as we walked in we were told that we needed the original box else they can not help us. After discussing it with them they said we could swap it out for the same one. We look and they did not have the same model in stock. Then the started with the original box again and I referred them to the Consumer Protection Act, which they did not know of. The manager "Chrisine" then asked me what was wrong with the iron. I told here that it trips the power after a couple of minutes in use. She plugged it in and told me it's fine. I told her to put water in and physically iron clothes then she will see that it trips the power. She refused. This is unacceptable, they were very unfriendly and very unhelpful. This needs to be sorted.
