On 14 - 07 - 2013, I popped into my local Pick n Pay and had the unfortunate experience of being made to feel guilty of an error made by the cashier. Needless to say, the experience caused me quite a bit of emotional distress it being a day that I was observing fast plus it being my birthday.
Today, the 16 - 07 - 2013, I received a friendly phone call from Pinelands Pick 'n Pay management who apologized profusely for the incident and assured me that the guilty parties had been dealt with. Feel so much better for receiving a response, as well as being told by the manager that she was grateful for my contacting the store about the initial incident as it was the only way that they could improve their service.
