On Monday my wife went to the Reggies in Cape Gate, she was buying diapers for our little one. When she got to the till, she wanted to use a voucher we had gotten from Discovery Vitality. The cashier refused to load the voucher - because my wife did not have the card with her. Now, we had to show an email from Discovery Vitality as well as the card to get the pack and vouchers, yet they still want this shown again, for what, I already proved it when we got the pack???
I told her to leave it then, and buy the diapers they had on special. When she got home, they charged her R269.95 in stead of the R249.95 as shown on a paper put up on the shelf for a special.
I went to query this yesterday, and first they just looked at me as if I am mad, then they said it only for the packs that is marked R299.95 (as the paper read from R299.95 to R249.95) When I told them the packs are all marked R269.95, they still did not budge. Then, I presume it is a manager, said no, the special was only for the weekend. Now, if it was only for the weekend, surely you need to take if off Monday first thing? And secondly, put a date on it. This is false advertising and poor customer service.
