False advertising and very bad attitude

When Oasis Water opened up in Rayton we started buying water from them. They gave us a small card numbered from 1-10. Told us after every 9th time we refilled water from them the 10th one will be free. So when I wanted to claim my 10th FREE refill the lady behind the counter (who refused to give her name) told me that we are not allowed to collect our free water until a new competition which started recently is done. that was not the agreement and whatever competition Oasis is having has got nothing to do with the previous water agreement. When I asked her to explaint to me how the competition works she told me she won't waste her time explaining as I would not understand. Telling the lady I am not happy she told me very rudely to go buy my water from someone else. I believe that lady do not have any customer skills and I also believe that she is the daughter of the owner. Does that give her the right to chase me out of their shop after I believe the fault is with Oasis. Thank you very much for my 10th refill which I must add, I paid for MYSELF. Explanation from a senior person will be appreciated.
