I recently did shopping at the FLM. Upon cooking a tray of sausages that cost R65.00, the smell and taste of the sausages were sour. From what I know, if meat is sour its a no-no. I did go back to the store a few days later and told the butchery staff what had happen, the butchery manager then told me to bring the sausages back but I had thrown them away. Anyway, I put it down as just a bit of bad luck. Over the past weekend I bought a Texan Steak from the same store. It was cooked on the braai, and yet again the meat was sour!!! This is now totally unacceptable. Food poisoning cannot be taken lightly and I don think that Food Lovers Market would fit a doctors bill. Really disappointing! Will not be going back for any product they supply.
