So the lovely reburbished Rosebank Exclusive Books this week, gleefully confirmed that they had in stock a book I have been searching for for ages. The consultant, who sounded a tad comatose, took down my name and number, told me he would put the book aside for me, and resulted in a very happy customer. So when I perused their website, I noticed that their store closes at 20h30.GREAT! I thought, giving me enough time to get through Joburg traffic. It was with great dissapointment then, when I arrived a little past 6pm to find the store closed, with a lone consultant staring at me through the glass as if I were an alien. Trying to remain calm, I emailed the store (with an address that I again found on their website), requesting in charming tones as to why their shop was closed when the website said it closes at 20h30.I garnered NO response. Not even 2 days later. Not an "out of office" or " we are busy as we will attend to you shortly". I have not even had a phonecall as to find out why I have not picked up a book that I said I would collect on TUESDAY (not that I could). They have lost a customer, that has purchased books from them since 1994 (not that I think this bothers them)
