On the 15th May i made a payment at Foschini store and my balance was R341, I went again this month on the 13th June to pay off the R341 that was my balance for June. To my surprise when they gave me a receipt showing a balance of R12 669.51. When i asked them to check again they told me thats what im owing and i couldnt understand how because i never made a purchase and still have my receipt for May showing my balance of R341. The lady at Foschini called their Head Office to find out what happened and they said my account was used on the 24th of May at Midlands and purchased at various stores i dont know by who and how because my card was with me. she further said they tried to call me abt this but i never received any call from Foschini as i only saw this when i went to settle my balance of R341. i just dont understand how someone can make a purchase with my account without my permission, according to my knowledge you have to sign for every purchase you make. Im not prepared to pay this R12 669.51 simply because i dont know how it came about. they told me to go to a police station for an affidavit i did that, i want my account cleared I WONT PAY THE R12 669.51 PERIOD.
