Pathetic customer skills and delivery complaint

I phoned Game Sandton on Sunday morning to enquire about the purchase of a box freezer and whether it will be delivered on Monday, as I am able to receive the freezer on Monday (it was a public holiday). I was informed by the lady working in the kitchen appliances dept that they will deliver on Monday.

When I got to the store to purchase the freezer, . I was told that they can only deliver on Tuesday... after reminding her that I phoned the morning, she told me that she would make a plan. I also requested that the driver then phone me an hour before the delivery so that I can ensure I am home to receive it, I was told that this is standard practice.

On Monday I phoned Game dispatch to enquire about the delivery time, they couldn't tell me what time the item will be delivered. The driver, Booitjie, phoned me the afternoon to say he is 5 minutes away (I was not at home) he decided that because it is a public holiday he didn't need to call. He then said he would deliver later that day. When I phoned him back 3 times at 4pm, he didnt pick up his phone.

I had to arrange for delivery on Tuesday then, where my husband had to leave work early. This was extremely inconvenient!!!
