Managers in meeting not responding to custome

Went into Tops liquors to purchase an item they had in advertised at a special price. Only to find empty boxes on display and NO stock on hand. The cashier/ shop assistant told me that they are out of stock on advertised merchandise. requested that he call a manager only to be told that managers are all in a meeting. Asked him to call closest store, Again he told me that he cannot as a manager must punch in the pin on the telephone as staff do not have access to making calls. What frustrates me is that I waited 20 minutes before an assistant pitch to put the call through. To top it all I call youtr tollfree customer care number only to get an answering machine telling me that SPAR cannot attend to my call and that I should leave me deatils and will receive a call back... UNBELIEVABLE!!! Service is just getting worst... I can understand being out of stock, but the arrogance of managers to ignore a customer... this being supported by the customer care number who encourages customers to call but than request that they leave their details if they have a problem... Why the did I call in the first place... to chat... It just proofs that SPAR do not care for their customers!!!
