Barnetts refuses to accept case

I recently lost my ID and when i ran a credit check, i saw that i had a Barnetts account opened using my lost ID with R24 000 outstanding.

I immediately called the call centre and was told to submit and affidavit, copy of ID, proof of address and bank account confirmation. This was done over a week ago and to date i have not had any calls to keep me updated on the progress of the investigation AND i am still listed on the ITC for an account i don't have.

Barnetts has passed me on from 1 person to the next, refusing to take any accountability and clearly dragging their feet in resolving this issue. 3 other suppliers have completed investigations within 2 working days and have already supplied clearance letters and removed ITC listing.

Barnetts is a USELESS establishment and the fact that someone can open a account is clearly an indication of the idiocy and lack of proper system checks.

Nomakwethu Baki was the person i have dealt with and on a scale of 1-10 i'd rate her and her useless establishment at -1000000!

DO NOT deal with Barnetts unless you like service! Unfortunately i didn't have a say in dealing with this useless place!
