A while back we became aware of the Eezi Coupons that Checkers have now started implementing and it has worked nicely so far. On 09/05/2013, we went to the Checkers at Willow Village and bought some of the items on which the Eezi Coupons are applicable.
The info on the Eezi Coupons states the following: Valid until: 09/06/2013 | Cannot be exchanged for cash. Offer valid while stocks last. Subject to availability.
We bought more than one of these specific items (Whiskas Cat Food Pouch 85g), of which there were stock, but when we arrived at the till none of the items had the Eezi Coupon applied to it. On another item (Knorr Stock Cubes) it wasn't applied at all.
When it was queried, we were told that they have a limit to how many items they may apply the coupon to per basket. We are heavily disputing this fact as the info on the Eezi Coupon makes no mention of a limit to how many of the items it will apply to nor was there any such mention in the shop itself. You cannot refuse to apply coupons based on a limit reasoning when you didn't mention it on the info of the coupon. That constitues a on the coupon and is against the law.
Take this unacceptable matter further!
