I bought a pair of shoes from Truworths and wore the only twice (Within a 2 week period). I noticed that the front tip of the shoe had started to peel (As if I had been kicking stones - which I can assure you I certainly don't)
I took the shoes back to the store and explained to the manager that the shoes were R340.00 and for that amount I expect decent quality, he said that he would have to send the shoes away to be tested for defect and would get back to me.
A week later I received a call that it was not a manufacturing defect therefore they are unable to credit my shoes. When I asked for the Regional manager's number the lady would not give it to me.
I agree that it was not a manufacturing defect, IT"S JUST POOR QUALITY. I've had my account with Truworths for 13yrs and this is not the quality of merchandise that is expected.
I nsist on a credit.
