Dear New Pick & Pay CEO
I read your article about you wanting to turn around Pick nPay and chuckled, because i really love the Stores, but your staff attitude really is baffling.
I approached Penelope, a freckled small lady at Bakery counter. She just stared at me, so iasked if she was serving, no response! I said crispy rolls' and she went off and packed whatever amount she decided for herself and i thought they were someone's else. She approached me with the pack, and of course i requested for the required amount. All this in sullen silence from her. I thought i should ask her whether i had offended, but feared for my life!
I then approached Jabu (his name means JOY) who sullenly grabbed my bananas, weighted them, and shoved them back at me, all the way looking away, and sauntered off!! leaving me really down, as i started to wonder whether there is something wrong with me, to be confronted with such animosity.
At the till, i requested cash back, and some smaller change from Alfred Zitha, who although chatty, refused flatly to split my cash back into smaller denominations, because he didnt have change!! in Pick n' Pay?? He was worried that 'he might not be able to give the next customer cha
