Don't fall for their Free 'Manicure/Pedicure' deal

I was at Pick n Pay today about to buy the new Ariel capsules when an Omo promo lady was telling me how I can buy a 2kg bag, get R20 off and get a free lovely Manicure or Pedicure, meal or movie ticket! I thought oh great I have been thinking of having a pedicure recently and she was telling me how lovely it is and how it is worth R120 and I asked if it is a proper pedicure and she said yes 'the works' and I thought OK, great and I bought a bag. I get home, dial the code, get an sms and the number to dial to redeem in your sms does not work. So I had to call the number on the label on the bag instead. The lady Letiwe gave me my choices and I chose the pedicure and she then told me it was only a file and paint?!! I mean seriously, that is NOT a pedicure. This is some serious misleading wording on your packaging and should be reported to the consumer council. Also, having been told things I want to hear by your promo girl in order to make me buy it is very wrong. Just because you (as the other promo lady put it) 'we are facing a lot of competition from competitors' does not mean you can mislead people like this, completely unacceptable!!
