I was kept on the line for approximately 5 minutes, while I was being transferred between the switchboard and the Sales centre, instead of the Service centre. I was eventually cut off. I called back and told the switchboard operator (021 526 3000) how bad the service was, and she very abruptly told me that I could not get through to the Service centre because they are busy. She then asked for my name and mobile number. I gave her my name, surname (then she cut me off, demanding that I JUST give her my telephone number.
This is the worst service I have ever received from a so-called service centre. Needless to say, I did not get anywhere with that phonecall. No Service call logged. I will have to call again soon to try and log that call - heaven knows how long it will take me to get through this time around - and what kind of service I will get from the switchboard operatior. What kind of company gives you bad service at the switchboard anyway - before you even get to discuss business with them? Whether I will be a repeat customer for Defy - I think not.
In the meantime, my 13 litre washing machine needs to be fixed, as soon as yesterday :-(
