My partner and I recently bought a new house and the previous owners used ADT and asked whether we want to take over the service. We agreed. After we moved in an ADT representative visited our house and we filled out a contract. That was on 26 March. They were meant to deduct money from our account and come and install pet sensors so that we can start using our alarm. Up until now we haven't heard a thing. I want to cancel the contract that we signed, because if this is how the service is just trying to sign up, imagine what it will be like when we actually them during an emergency. I don't feel safe knowing these people are meant to look after my property and protect us.
