I have received numerous unsolicited calls from ADT and their representatives. Each time I inform them that I did not sign up to receive sales calls from them and to remove my number. Each time the phone gets slammed down in my ear.
I never give out my landline number in order to prevent unsolicited calls so were did ADT get my number from? I am also listed on the consumer council web site but it is obvious that ADT does not honour this practise.
For the record:
1) I never do business with companies that employ unscrupulous marketing tactics
2) If I am looking for a service I will use the Internet to locate such a business
3) And I sure as never do business with a company that has such a long list of complaints on Hallo Peter.
If I receive one more call from ADT or anyone calling on behalf of ADT I will take the matter further.
