I cancelled my ADT service in writing in January 2013 giving one month's notice. I was told by ADT's retention staff that my service would be cancelled. I never thought about it again until I noticed in late September than I was still being billed. After 4 calls to their call centre and even the threat of CPA and legal action, there has been not a word about any refund of the R5, 000 approx that they owe me being 7 months at around R630!
What a disgrace for a company of this size to bully an ex client with non-payment. To have to waste my time on a legitimate refund and error by them.
Avoid signing a debit order with this company.
