Unresponsive unit

I received an sms this morning that my tracker unit seems unresponsive and that i must call them to resolve. I called and spoke to Hendrick Libazi who confirmed that my vehicle movements were not picked up this morning and that there must be something wrong with my unit. he told me that a technician will have to come and check it and there is a 550 fee that i will have to pay. Now, somebody please tell me why do i have to carry the cost? i pay my monthly fees religiously. The unit decided to stop working, I didnt cause it, neither did they. so how is it decided that between the two of us, i be the one carrying the cost? i refuse to carry the cost and i demand that this issue be resoved asap!!!
