I logged a complaint regarding DSTV more than double debiting me after i have switched decoders. after taking more than 17 days to respond to me, i received a call from Abigail advising me that i had agreed to purchasing an additional premium bouqet. not once did the agent advise me that we are now entering into a sales agreement, not once was i advised that i will be debited an activation fee for an additional bouqet as well as that i will be paying an additional premium subscription fee. according to abaigail when i requested to keep the smart card active i automatically meant that i want an additional bouqet. i did not agree to any contract stipulating that i would now be charged for 2 premium bouqets. there was no indication from the agent at any point in time that we are entering into a new contract? surely when you are selling something to a client you should advise them that you are selling and subsequently they should clearly agree to what you are selling to them. DSTV cannot enter into a contract with me without me being aware that i'm doing so, surely the CPA does not allow for this kind of behaviour?
