My Dad was a subscriber to DSTV Compact and unfortunately passed away in February. Without any warning DSTV signal was cancelled on 11/04/2013 although debit order still was paid and payments up to date, when I phoned they told me my Mom had to come and see then to get a new card. She did that the following day, and was told that DSTV will work when she get home, it did not. I again phoned and it was fixed, but now my Mom has been classified as a new client and was put on a Family Package. She can not get the old package back which included Kyknet, and if she now wants Kyknet she has to take the full package which will cost R625 pm. So because my Dad died she now has to pay more than - 3 times more, now is that fair??? Nothing has changed except she is now classified as a new client, still uses the same decoder the same account is debited, the same money is paying for the service but now that my Dad has died she can not get back the old package they used to have, Does this not constitute arrogance of take or leave it???
