Bought a Drifta and tried to connect it. After waiting for 20 minutes, DSTV simply told me that our area is not covered and that they are terribly sorry for that. The consultant was right indeed because I checked it on the coverage map. Some streets in Hout Bay are not covered!
DSTV should have told me this story when I bought this thing. IF DSTV is really customer care centered they would have offered me immediately my money back for this inconvenience. Just like another complainer I will be bringing this thing to one of the DSTV offices and I will demand my money back and if they don't want to do that,
I am going to take it up with one of the Provincial Consumer Affairs Offices in Cape Town.
