Sunday 24 March I intended to see a movie at Ster-Kinekor Irene Village mall. I tried to pay with my Investic bank credit card at the self help service station, two people in front of me also tried but were unsuccessful. The error message that appeared showed insufficient memory and asked if a error message could be sent to Microsoft. I notified one of the employees, who tried using the self help machines but were unsuccessful. I was then taken to the sweets/popcorn counter were I was assisted with my purchase. I asked if I can also buy popcorn I was told that it could not be on the same transaction. Trying to buy popcorn with a second transaction an error message was shown. Loudly and rudely I was told that there is insufficient funds. This was not the message shown. On requesting to speak to a supervisor I was told that they were not to be bothered after hours. I asked if another card machine can be used. I was talk to loudly that this would not make a difference to the funds. I felt like an even though I had more than enough funds to buy two popcorns. Due to this scene I have missed my movie. I was treated unprofessionally for a fault that wasn't mine.
