I am writing to you, as I was disgusted at the treatment I received whilst trying to buy my 12 year old daughter a box of popcorn. I wrote to Ster Kinekor customer care on Sunday, but haven't received a response!
We went into Prestige and asked for a box of popcorn from Hilda. She said we couldn't have one without a movie ticket, but said we could get one at the Zone. We reluctantly went there and after waiting in a slow queue I decided to return to Prestige where there was no queue and ask again. I was refused again and asked to see the manage Zack.. There is NO sign anywhere saying you have to have a movie ticket to buy popcorn from either Prestige or Rosebank Zone. Surely an extra box of popcorn sold is revenue for Ster Kinekor, regardless of whether you are going to watch a movie or not, at Prestige or the Zone or anywhere else for that matter? I explained to Zack that I just wanted to buy my daughter a box of popcorn. He said NO. I left highly irritated at such nonsense! Just petty power syndrome and unnecessary officiousness.
