I stayed at the Cascades Hotel with my family between the 6th and 8th of March. On the morning of the 8th at between 3 and 4 am I hit the jackpot on the 5c Slots in the Sun City hotel/casino. Because it was over a certain amount my slot card was automatically locked. I then went to the cashier to collect my winnings. Unfortunately the cashier could not pay me out as the system had "crashed". I informed that this was not a problem as I would collect my winnings later that morning. At around 12 I returned to collect my cash. Once again I was informed that payment could not be made. This was a problem for me as I was returning to JHB with my family. I complained with one of the managers who then informed me that they could not pay as they could not access my slot card until the system was up. I was then advised to fill in a claim form with my banking details and my card no. The manager then advised that they would contact me once the system was up and running and that my account would be credited with my winnings. It is now 5 days and I have received no call and no credit. Sun City are very happy to take your money however they seem to renege on their commitments when money is owed.
