Called up the Multichoice call center because there's a problem in receiving signal for a couple opf channels although the bulk work fine. Call center agent, Simphiwe tries to troubleshoot and have me reboot, reset and eventually restore factory settings, just to break the signal completely. So much so, nothing works, cannot even scan and find a anetwork. After 1 1/5 hours on the line and being cut off after initial half hour, they cannot fix the problem. No it becomes an installation issue all of a sudden. They will get an installer our at my cost yet they broke the signal. How does this work? Multichoice call center breaks the signal, cannot fix it and then want you as the customer to pay for an installer to fix their mess?
I've just cancelled my subscription as I'm no prepared to pay for the incompetence. The supervisor, Bonni couldn't be preterbed, hastly loggin into the system and cancelling and crediting. The mind boggles how this lot has survived so long, probably because there's not been decent competition. Well, its the end of tv viewing as we know it, I'd rather not be pay people like this for pathetic customer service and incompetence.
