I took my daughter for movies & ice-cream.Approaching the ticket counter, the only lady behind the counter (no name tag), asked me if I would be paying by cash or movie card (Edgars Card). Bear in mind, she did not even say 'Hi', not even a smile. I advised her, I will pay with the card, for the discount, she abruptly pointed to the self service machine & in a very rude tone 'told me', Do you know how it works?
I told her where we would like to sit. She swiped the movie card several times, but it refused to work. She did not request further assistance from management & told me I need to pay full price, because the card did work.I asked her, don't I have a choice? No reply received from her. She booked & I paid full price for myself & my 3 year old baby.I politely said 'Thank you', & as I walked away, she said abruptly, 'Excuse me, Remember, You always have a choice.' I had my daughter with me & did not want to displace my frustration in-front of her.I proceeded to the refreshment counter only to be screamed at, 'Slush or Soda, I'm talking to you.'Ster-Kinekor - Great Moments at their Greatest.
